It’s just stopped spring stuff getting any worse it’s way to late to make a silk purse out of a sows ear

Nothing combineable. Too late for everything but it’s greatly valued as it’s arresting further decline and should allow decent grain fill. It’s main value here is to sugar beet.

My Borage crops are loving this rain, which has come at just before stem extension.

The problem I’m having now is spraying maize . It had a pre em, but the post em gets done by a contractor . We held off because of the heat, then it’s rained heavily since and the weeds have gone mad. Not going to be helped by no Calaris.

I m sat here with 600 ha of maize recs to do [plus beans/linseed]. Ran has done good but need a calm dry spell now to catch up .
