Most of our souls are reasonably light. The 724 toys with the 3.5m 2 bed machine. I realise we would be close to the limit weight wise. It handles a 6 furrow auto reset plough. Would the 5.4m be much heavier?
Have tried a triple baselier on a 724 to get out of a muddle when a tractor broke down, waste of time, straight into ploughing you had to keep easing the front out to stop it stalling then when the hoods started to fill with dirt it struggled to pick it up. Does depend what your trying to achieve also I guess, the more dirt you carry the more hp you'll need, lift the hoods up and fire it straight out the back and it'll romp alongMost of our souls are reasonably light. 724 lifts a scanstone no problem and will drive it depends on the output your wanting only way is to try one. Most of our souls are reasonably light. The 724 toys with the 3.5m 2 bed machine. Grimme, you can get a little more depth as the rotor is bigger, and I think they have 3 year warranty, only downside is the weight of it!
Was that with ploughs on the back to make the beds As they take some pulling724 lifts a scanstone no problem and will drive it depends on the output your wanting only way is to try one.
My biggest concern would be it leaving a smeary pan in the bottom of the ridge. Mechanically wise 6 seasons and no issuesWhat are people’s experience’s of the rotovators. Have any got issues to watch out for?
I've only personally used it for veg beds on a 724 so not going deep but yes lifts it no problem with ploughs on the back. It has been used on a 720 in the past straight into ploughing but forward speed is very slow. All depends on your ground and what output your wanting to achieve. Was that with ploughs on the back to make the beds As they take some pulling
