Thinking of dropping a field for little bales of hay Tomorow, but every weather app I look at conflicts one another. Which is the most reliable? Near Buxton Derbyshire

As a sailor I would avoid the BBC. Supplied by Metro France, they have been wrong more often than right.
I like the Met office, but they all work from the same information. Sailing fora are full of this sort of thing. Gohttp://weather.mailasail.com/Franks-Weather/Home to Frank Singleton for an unbiased opinion.

I find the Norwegian weather service very accurate. Sounds bizarre but they do give weather forecasts for uk . Presumably they spend a lot of time looking west into the Atlantic for their weather and can give a good service for the uk

Day before is too late to learn which model suits your farm. It’s the local subtleties that can make or break for hay, so you need to have a forecast you can trust - whilst they all start with the same data they will likely all crunch it a bit different. Start watching them now and you might have worked out which is most reliable for your microclimate by next summer. For me, it’s Met Office, but that might be the wrong one for my neighbours.
