@ollie989898 nothing much on FlightRadar....... reckon they`ve turned the transponders off?

Until a couple of years ago the Swiss airforce (mostly F/A15’s and F5’s) only operated Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.

Unlike our RAF, who (if you watch ADSB or Flight Radar 24) are exactly the same, except the RAF only fly 4 days a week as they generally don’t train on Fridays.

Well they don’t seem to keen of getting back together. Stalin didn’t think much of them because he starved them. They were pretty pleased to see the Germans because of that though that didn’t end well. It’s a bit like Scotland getting independence then a few years down the line Boris starts lining the tanks along Hadrians Wall having already taken Berwick on Tweed a few years earlier.
Why on Gods earth would anyone want Berwick?

I can't work out these LAGR flights, they were doing this yesterday as well. Fly down south East after crossing the channel and then circling in a racetrack. He must be refuelling fighter jets here.

Refueling stations generally fly a racetrack or oval pattern to make it easy for the fighter jocks to find them, particularly single seater pilots as they have enough to do without trying to navigate. That said, they're holding plenty far enough back over Romania, so probably aren't supporting fighters - at least not over Eastern Ukraine, more likely supporting intelligence birds, topping up their tanks inbound & outbound.

Berwick Rangers had Money😳?
There was a time when they were quite successful. Can't remember the name of the chairman but he pumped quite a lot of money into them and they climbed through the leagues quite quickly and had a decent cup run, beating some big teams.

Sorry for going off topic, but as exciting about speculating on what dots are doing on flight radar!🤣

My brother was working at Akrotiri airbase (cyprus) last wk. He said the Americans were flying a spy plane that was under heavy escort as soon as it landed and then taken straight to a hanger and closed up.
I'm sure there's plenty of stuff up there not too many folks know about. Though with so much commercial imagery capability and personal recording devices, keeping things secret must be an awful pain these days.

In another poor sign Biden had a family gig which he has decided not to go to, staying in Washington instead.

Whether Russia invades or not, there's no going back to business as usual after all this.

Yes, that is a sad and unpleasant truth. But it's only just to recognise the difference between a minority of operatives often exceeding their authority, and a blanket policy operated across an entire arm of service.
Not sure who you are referencing as the "minority of operatives" as the enhanced interrogation techniques were approved at the highest levels of the Bush administration and congressional leaders on the other side of the aisle.
Sorry but the excuse of a couple of bad apples when abuses are systematic just annoys me.

'Bad apples'? Some are, most aren't; fortunately it's hard for you to imagine, but you'd probably be a bloody sight more annoyed if you had to live under the sort of threat they wanted to impose.

But, then, you can have the luxury of a 'conscience' because you haven't, aren't and won't ever put yourself in a position of danger, and with other people's lives and safety as your responsibility.

I suspect we can agree that's a very good thing too. :)

Wow,
not sure where all this is coming from as I just pointed to a flaw in your argument. The fact if I will or will not put myself in a position of danger has never been mentioned or insinuated towards so you are taking quite a leap of faith.

Btw, the bad apples referenced the "minority of operatives often exceeding their authority" which you mentioned. If that was unclear I do apologise for that.
