Will the UK chip in for Notre Dame

Sorry, but I firmly believe charity should begin at home. Our one and only County hospital is closing. Rubbish collected once every 3 weeks. Potholes everywhere. Roadside hedges cut once a year, if at all. Police struggling for funds to fight crime. And yet we must feel guilty if we don't want to contribute to rebuilding a landmark in another country ? Really ?

Well, you know who to blame for all that. And why should the French even think of asking the UK for money to rebuild Notre Dame? If individuals of any country or religion wish to contribute that is entirely up to them and it's nobody else's business.

I asked you to point them out but you ignored it
You see what you want to see and what you think is there

As in now I will ignore you. I hope your clock has a long winder

As I said to Rob, I may choose to flag up a few kipper type comments in the future
I though there was something fishy about you but using kippers for flags is going a bit far
Why not just eat them

Seen that lots of times on here ask someone to point out the offending posts or posters and they don't
Perhaps you should take your comment down if you can't back it up

Apparently they aren’t interested in our oak. Holepark in Kent offered a lot of oak to the project and they refused. Was on the local news a few weekend back soon after it happened.

There is no shortage of oak here, grows like weeds. Getting the right knot free straight trunks is the problem. Neighbour had the wood cutters in last year, but out of 300 or so trees felled only about a 20 or 30 went for wood the rest was for pulping.
