Depends what sort of ground it is , Timothy don't like ground to dryFundimentally correct but bit more detail required im afraid.
Question is does the big Italian get on with little Timothy
could be a little problem there, clover, herbs, seem a bit thicker around the headlands, this could be because the headlands tend to be firmer, or simply smaller seed comes out earlier than r/grass, from the drill. As we xdrill, thinking of putting majority of 'big' seed 1st pass, and majority of 'little' seed second, which should be slightly firmer. Sounds good, whether it works in practice, different matter.Fundimentally correct but bit more detail required im afraid.

Name a grass that likes it dry?40 years experience, [emoji1787]
It's disappearing on my dry Timothy fields and increasing on my wetter land . But I respect that the seed experts will push it for dry land , I still put it on the dry fields as it's a great grass to have in a mix

Flat rolled before the seed goes on. That is not a drill , just a seed box , all coulters / tubes and stripped off so seed just broadcasts down .could be a little problem there, clover, herbs, seem a bit thicker around the headlands, this could be because the headlands tend to be firmer, or simply smaller seed comes out earlier than r/grass, from the drill.
