Winter beans

I didnt get out but these would be under a foot tall today. How much more growing do they do from now to harvest? I've had springs which we have had clacking the windscreen of a self propelled sprayer. They did well.
Ohhh
Winters are about 2 to 3 feet here, covered in flowers
They'll probably do another foot, but then lose that by harvest

Hey people have been sowing spring beans the last few years but harvesting date is always a pain, have no experience in winter beans are yields much better as a rule than spring beans and what’s the usual harvesting date? Thanks in advance

My Vertigo spring beans are 8-15" tall and starting to flower. There won't be much on them this year & I expect to have the header on the ground to get the lower pods. Last year we cut them in mid September after desiccation with glyphosate. There were a lot of beans that didn't germinate in the dry spring until the rains came in mid May so some very uneven crops. This time they are more even but very thin & backwards. Looking fairly clean apart from a bit of chocolate spot appearing on the more forward plants.

Any fungicide plans
I’ve gone went
1*alto elite 1.5 early flower
2* Signum 0.5 +
Ctl / rover 1 mid flower
3* Was going to be 0.5 signum but it’s to expensive might go teb250 0.75 .

Problem is signum / alto elite v expensive . Or beans to cheep either way no margin for expensive sprays .

I'm firmly of the opinion now that winter beans are not suited to no-till on our land. We have Claydon drilled direct, Claydon drilled into Trioed land and no-till with the 750a. The 750a are puny and are being outstripped by the rest. Neighbours which were ploughed / Trioed nice and early and then Horsch drilled are romping away.
How are your beans looking now ?

Wow, hope your yield will be better than mine. What you expecting? They look good mind. Unsprayed here as yet. End of flowering due 1.5 alto elite soon. Will go back if choc spot gets bad otherwise will be left.

A lovely time for harvesting compared to mid to late October on the spring varieties here in Ireland! Most expecting to possibly be harvesting in November this year with the late sowing dates

Seems a belt and braces approach, why alto elite opposed to ctl and a splash of teb?

So far mine have had a litre of ctl, will go again this with with another litre and some strobe. Will add teb if rust starts to show. Trying to grow the A’s cheap as possible
