Fresh from visiting Lincolnshire's most exciting waterfall, my children and I are keen to visit the highest point in Lincolnshire.

Sadly, the trig point at Wood Top is not on a public footpath, so I was wondering if anyone knew who's farm it was on, so I can get in touch and ask if we can walk to it.

Yes. North, north west of the radar station. It's the trig point at 168m. Picture supplied by my small child.

Is the mast not the highest point then?

Highest point on the land is the trig point to the north. I doubt they would let me climb the mast.....

For reference, I'm going there to eat a pot noodle. My friend is currently climbing mountains in Asia eating dried noodles, so best I can go is most northerly, southerly, easterly and Westerly points, highest and lowest in lincs.

If you have time and looking for a scenic route ,comming out of horncastle there a garage on the left ,turn left and followit back to Bardney ,then over the river ,washingborough into lincoln .
Usually heading for the bridge as fast as I can but will bear it in mind thanks. Find Lincolnshire very unspoilt to where I live near the north york moors.
