I’m not so sure. Can’t see it being 10%.

In the states they’ve got 1.3 mill elec vehicles vs 283 million normal vehicles.

There’s places in the uk that have now been without elec for 6 days due to storm arwen. What happens if those people have a serious emergency but can’t charge their elec cars?
No different to the effects a month or 2 ago when folk were getting aggressive because they couldn't find fossil fuels, is it?

That affected many more people.

I’ve yet to come across anybody who couldn’t get some fuel even if it was upto the £30 limit. Yes there were queues but the country carried on. Without elec everything stops.

Really? I had colleagues who couldn't come to meetings, because they couldn't get enough fuel to make it there and back and wouldn't risk a night away from home (ill partners, etc.)

Yes really and I suspect lots of people played on the very fact to get out of work because nobody wants to work any more after covid. They are so used to being laid to sit at home watching tv. Any excuse from now onwards.

Won't be needed soon enough, chances are most people will be sat on their asses collecting a living allowance while AI does their job for them

I can top up any diesel vehicle 24 hours/day with no power needed., 2 miles to 500 miles range in 2 mins

So can most farmers (not in Wales though, as they need power for the mandatory fuel stations, it seems) but farmers are unusual compared to the majority of society in that respect. I bet you don't top them up every night though - do you?

Top up as required anytime, even 2 mins before going on a long journey and finding its less than a quarter, I am sure ev's will catch up one day.
