Well, it should have been a goat.
Nanny was trying to kid for an hour, but nothing was happening. Went in and felt a huge mass, as you can see, there wasn’t a head or legs to feel, couldn’t get it out. Behind it were 2 live kids, first came out the correct way, second was breech. Still the mass wouldn’t move. Called out the vet who after 10 minutes of struggling pulled out a 3rd live kid, still couldn’t get the mass out. A caesarean was on the cards, when the nanny went down and out it popped! Bugger me, never seen anything like that before. One of the kids is in front of the AGA tonight, other 2 and mum doing ok. Vet bagged up the blob and took it away to show the other vets in the practice. Would have been interesting to have opened it up to see what organs were present seeing as it had developed so far.

It's called an Amorphus globus (or at least that's what @bovine said it was when we had one a few years ago).

This was ours...........

Had to c/s the ewe as this was stuck in her pelvis. It was accompanied by a dead lamb (that was set solid like a stick) and a normal live lamb.

It was just like a football sized lump of fat with 2 back legs, 2 tiny front legs, 2 massive b@llocks and no head. It shrivelled up to nothing in a few days.

We had this from a big cow this week !Calved on its own !wtf
Calf was normal otherwise .Infarct it was a large heifer !
Vet called it Hydrocephalus in its extreme.!
And it was alive !View attachment 1014867
We had a set of twins calves with it a couple of years ago, both born alive, the male calf was not as bad as yours but it wasn't going to survive so put to sleep, the heifer only had a slight lump and survived and we sold her fat at 16mths.
