Wynns diesel injector cleaner

Have been looking at some of this stuff to put in the old loader tractor, I've heard it can help her regain some of her lost power and would be an easy fix for the time being.

But I was wondering if there are any nasty side effects that I need to know about. I don't want her becoming dependent on the stuff like they can with easy-start.

Have you changed air and fuel filters?
Is it smoking or breathing?
Could lack of power be caused by low sulphur fuel?
I know of 2 local guys that put fuel additive in their pickups ...... one said an improvement in performance and
mpg and the other said no difference at all

Used some on the jd6920 for no reason other than I bought a bottle of the jd fuel conditioner cheap. Shat it's head gasket the next week, no idea if it's linked or not.

Shes serviced regularly enough, and its not a sudden thing that's come on, shes gradually started going abit flat over the years, but shes done over 10,000 hrs now and the injectors and pump could do with a service really, but I cant spare her at the moment as shes my only loader.

Our local contractor was telling me about the cleaner, saying they used some in a fiat 110-90 they used to have, and her went like hell afterwards, so I thought about trying some in the TS, as long as theres no bad side effects that he didn't mention.

no side effects
But don't be surprised if you don't notice any difference

yes it will be fine, tip a third of the bottle in fuel filter and rest in tank run it but don't give it a flogging, it will improve injector spray pattern and clean pump up inside,
its a myth about easy start becoming addictive no such thing, and same with fuel flush
Should you have said top third of bottle into new filter??

I have been thinking
After 10,000 hours turbo performance is down along with other components
More than likely, it's just that I cant do without her at the minute, so I'm putting off any bigger jobs. Shes not desperate, but theres the odd time I could do with a bit more poke out of her, which is why i was looking at this cleaner. When shes free and I've got the time and the cash, I plan on having a look at her properly.
