and they would quite likely say that it was fine when it left the factory.
Me too. I find I need to make an X for the fert to empty nicely. And a sharp new blade to make a good cut rather than a hopper full of canvass strands. I stand on the link arms ( tractor switched off of course ), rather than between the forklift and hopper.I find the more expensive the fertiliser the worse the cut bags are to shake out.
I just use a stanley knife.
mustve been quite some competition ,like ' what is this hay or straw ?'But it was solid enough to break the bag cutter when needed to be used. So summat happened to it between the factory, the docks and the farm.

How do you claim the points to buy stuff on the yara website ? Get yara fert by the artic load and never heard anything about points
I agree. Two bags in a load last year sat wet in a dry shed all winter, I pointed it out to my agromonist who noted it and when I used it it was bad. Yara credited me full rate for the two bags.I always find Yara very helpful On any quality issues. I’ve never known them to run away from an issue. Guess you just need to know who to speak to.
