By 8.30 this morning it felt like yet another hot day with a drying easterly breeze, but after lunch time, the breeze had veered more northerly, cooled a little, and increased.

It's definitely fresher now, allowing stock to graze in comfort. No leaf of sward is safe!

Every forecast seems to keep moving it back like it has since May

We were supposed to have some rain today, nothing at all and now back to blue skies and hot. Saturday was also forecast some rain which has now vanished as well, but Friday is still currently hopeful in the evening (50% chance).
One good thing, I had some kind of very invasive spreading ground cover plant threatening the borders and lawn which is toasting nicely and dying off saves me some work.
