Anyone had a similar problem? One of the T7's is fine but the other is all over the show. Its either the orbital unit or ram seals, do they have a common fault with one or the other?

Cab suspension?
Just done the ram seals on our 190, you had to continuously turn the steering wheel slowly to keep a straight line, would take a fair turn to react one way but was instant the other. Seal kit for that was about £50 which seems a lot but cured our problem.

Had the same issue on t7060 got the orbital replaced now good as gold.

Ours was same. It was bearings on steering ram needed replaced.

Tracking has been done to sort the tyre wear. I don't have to continuously turn the wheel to keep a straight line though, it wanders and I have to keep correcting it but its so sensitive it will sometimes over correct by a few feet. When coming out of a roundabout its slow to react then all of a sudden it will nearly be in the hedge and you have to react fast to catch it.

Pretty much the same as you just posted above. Steering was lazy at slow speeds like it took more turns than normal to get full lock and it would dart in random directions when on the road at full speed. It was a real handful almost dangerous at times.

Its because of the steering angle sensor in there. Surprisingly never had that kingpin wear out though.

Blank the pipes that go to the Rams on the axles and if the orbital still turns round and round fairly easy then the orbital is shagged.

The brakes were done on it by the dealer before it was bought around 600hours back so they shouldn't be an issue.

They do go knackered by them selves. I've changed two. One on an old puma 09 reg and one on a 2013 reg. Happens to any of them.

If the brakes were really knackered and filled the system with metal that could still be floating about and found it way to the orbital?

Sorry I wasn't clear, the brakes were only done as a precaution they hadn't failed.
