How are people getting on now??
I've crept up 5 lbs through April
Now lost it again and was down to 11-7 on Saturday
Just through eating less
Now aiming for 2 lbs a week, which will meet my target of 17th July
How are people getting on now??
Dont worry about itQuick question; is there a way to adjust BMI if you’re fairly active? At 81kgish and 178cm, I’m about 3kg over what BMIwould class as a ‘normal’ weight, but I’m walking 20 to 30 thousand steps a day and I don’t feel particularly overweight. I assume that most people hat have sedantry jobs move just a few thousand steps a day, so I presumably have more muscle than the average person so I’ll be heavier without being fatter.
Intermittent fasting is the way to live, I have tea around 7pm and don’t take in any calories for 14 hours so I only eat 10 hours of the day. Drink black coffee in the morning, no milk as that breaks the fast, drink water all morning which keeps hunger at bay and gives your body chance to reset. Only eat whole food, fruit and veg and meat, no crap. I don’t need to loose weight I’m still thin but i don’t want to get fat like everyone else.Intermittent fasting is good . I just miss my breakfast and do weights .
Agree, cornflakes don’t even taste like they used too now . I drink water in the morning as well , usual 16-8 fast
That's not cornflakesReally, I thought they were Grrrrreat!
Cornflakes are just Frosties with the sugar sucked off! That's not cornflakes

Didn't manage to lose all 19kg, but I did get 11.5 of them offIs anyone still aiming for the Cereals target?
I got on the scales last weekend and I'd crept up 3 stone (19kg) from this time last year.
It might sound a bit bonkers, but my plan now is to lose that by the day after cereals.
I'll let you know how I get on!
I’ve been gaining weight steadily for a few years which has really annoyed me but probably not annoyed me enough to do anything about it... until the realisation that hardly any clothes fit me anymore! Used to play loads of football and tug of war with young farmers, ran 5-10k most weeks but since b****** my ankle I got out of the loop and gained weight pretty steadily after that and the more weight you gain the less keen you are to exercise! I still do plenty exercise on a daily basis through work etc, I have a step counter on my phone average 15,000 or so and quite often over 20 so the main problem is how much I eat! Any tips on reducing appetite or cutting out snacking? It sounds easy to just stop but a lot of the time it’s just second nature you don’t think about and I’ve found it difficult to break the habit. I hardly drink and don’t smoke and I’m active every day I just need to cut out the food...
I find it's the only way I can lose weight. Without the stimulus of regular running, my body just goes into 'sleep mode' if I just cut down on inputs!Don't expect running to lose you weight.

Boiled eggs are a great snack they fill you up really well for a long time. When we had our own hens I always had a bowl ready peeled in the fridge ready to eat. Thinking about it the hens went about a year ago and that's about when I started to put weight on... I've been eating chocolate and shite instead. The time I start feeling lardy is when I’ve spent a few days sitting on a tractor having taken too much stuff/ the wrong stuff to eat. Now I’m careful not to take too many sandwiches and not to bring any chocolate, crisps, cake etc (I get bored sitting on a tractor and just eat whatever I’ve brought) instead I take a few better snacks and not too many eg a boiled egg, plain nuts etc, fruit especially apples and so on. Apparently strawberries have very few calories (according to my physio) so are good for weight loss.
I can't smell them so it's everyone elses problem not mineStinky farts eating boiled eggs though. Even the dog looks annoyed.
