Blame the man not the kit.A gaybob does 2 jobs....both badly
If you think a gaybob makes a better job than a Tedder then you’re deludedBlame the man not the kit.
Have you got a Tedder?A good man on a haybob is better than a bad one on a tedder. Tedders chaff the grass up and leave it flat like lawn clippings . A haybob being used correctly is a lovely sight. Plenty of clowns breaking headstocks and losing multiple tines while bobbing the back swathe clockwise etc that never learnt to use them correctly

Aye we are a dying breed, boys now with the back window shut, radio on full bore hardly looking back or getting out to check they are doing the job right. Most wouldnt know they had snapped it in half until they met it in the next bout. Most good haybob men are dead .

When it’s sunnyIs there best times to turn? And times of day not to turn?
A craftsman tedds in the opposite direction to the mower and has the tedder/haybob angle and speed set to do the perfect job imo, the drier it gets the faster you can go with less aggressive angleI can't see how you can ted grass without hooked tines . lift and seperate .
