Sound like mine was built by the same bloke! I've still got it though. Not much good to say about zetor after this one
I bought a 4709 last year new. £37500. Wet clutch electronic linkage full set of front weights. They are available with a dry clutch but your better off with the wet one as u can change gears without having to use the clutch

Iv heard a few say they are not as good as they once were, shame really. Were they annoying faults or major problems with yours?
If I could take the 3pt linkage controls and swap them with the 390T for me would make it perfect. Don't like the the fact that when you get out of the cab the pto stops. Makes it pretty useless with the slurry pump on the back. Oh nearly forgot a single acting spool valve would heip too. Why all 3 have to be double acting only?

Some smaller silly things and some more serious. I knew it wasn't a top end machine but would like it to just do what is should to a reasonable standard especially as it is only lightly used.

Do they not have float or else the same as the 3op as in the small screw below the coupler to change from double to single

Ther must be some way o changin it to single or youl burn the pump out when lettin trailers down if the oil is bein forced out to a closed coupler

You would think there would be. But trust me I have checked. Anyway I have one of the spool valves piped back to the transmission housing.

If only a double acting spool is available, it can be converted to a single acting valve by simply looping a hose from the other spool coupling to a return in the casting.
Anyway don't get me wrong here. I much rather spend a day in the 4709 than my 18/6 390T. Really do like that gearbox and don't really miss the splitter. Definitely a lot easier on the left leg not having to use the clutch

He is correct, surprised me when i borrowed one for grain carting, had to stop the tractor to drop the trailer, at the time I though 10 series Fords must have been way ahead of there time!

No idea, buts its like selling a tractor without a top link being available.
Did that a while ago duck , stops a certain person locking spool forward to let trailer down . And no where for oil to go , then goes down road with it pumping and wonders why tractor spells hot
