If you want light, the smaller range of Kubota at your hp point certainly aren't built lardy.

Should be possible - you just need a bit of luck/be in the right place at the right time... If you aren`t in a hurry you`ve a better chance to have a good look around. Try to find something with a bit of good history (maybe something local that you can do a bit of research on), rather than rushing out and buying something with a (potentially) expensive problem. GOOD LUCK.What sort of jobs will it be doing? Do you need 4WD? Must it be 100HP or could you manage with 70HP?
If you can find one of those in that sort of condition with a front linkage for less than 10k you`d best buy a few lottery tickets coz I reckon you`re a VERY lucky beggar........

At £10k for 100hp you are only going to be looking at older tractors and are not going to find a huge variety of different choices.
Generally, you will be looking at only one or two models from each brand as there was not the range overlap we have now with current manufacturers. From Case for instance, there would be the legendary 1056xl, then there would be the cx100 if you were to go a bit newer but would be unlikely to keep within budget.
Ford would yeild the 7710 4cyl or 7810 6cyl, both around the 100hp ish mark. Then newer would be the 7740 and 7840 perhaps in budget.
What ever you choose, at that budget. Condition is king.

I would be look for a case 885 xl 4wd or something like that,
I know it's under 100hp, at about 84 hp, 4 cylinder, handy a out, and that would be about as reliable as most and light weight, comfortable and not bad on fuel, would be under budget, or on budget with a loader fitted, handy and cheap as chips to run, as a man with a van or a trained monkey could repair them, and parts are cheap to boot,
Failing that a Fendt 836 would do for haybobing a bit of grass
