Can claim both. Second one they say August.

Worked out the same but 70%
I think it will all depend on whether we get a second wave or not.Squeaky bum time for the government i think.Easing of rules just a bit too early. They could easily change their minds by August.Looking like £300 Billion extra borrowing for the year.

No it was announced last week.. Same time they announced in how the reduced furlough will work. Thursday I think it was , from Sunak himself.

One of 3 partners here is still waiting. A call to 0800 024 1222 confirmed that they are very busy, but that one of our claims made on 16th May, is on its way, and will be here by 3rd June. Courtesy of a very nice lady, possibly in Bombay or Delhi.

Thanks for reply.

Just got an email half an hour ago to say one of our partners claim was rejected because they fear it may have been applied for by someone else.

Speaking to accountant today, who said he believed their system was rejecting a number of separate applications made from the same computer as possibly fraudulent. This one was made over the phone, with me and the partner present, who confirmed for security, though I handled most of the details.

According to him, those rejected can reapply from tomorrow. Another hour and a half on the phone repeating the same thing then.?

I would say fat lamb trade will be on the floor by aug/sep, can't see restaurants packed with people eating lamb,, so hope I'm wrong,
Lambs are always lowest priced in August/September, that’s primarily due to millions of hill lambs finally being drafted for the first time.
If there’s a second scheme then yes unless I get something from council, huge loss of earnings due to covid for non sheep related businesses.

Funny you should say that. My grandfather always kept a bay of hay back for a dry summer. Never had one until after he died in 1974.

They rejected a claim made personally over the phone?
Sounds odd, I applied by phone for an application because apparently if you don't have a passport or a photo driving license you cannot do one online!
I thought it was confirmed at the time of application.

Unfortunately I know to well about lower prices come Aug / Sep,, but something tells me there going to be a whole lot lower than last year

Exactly.

They passed it at the time, told us the amount etc, and then nothing until email this evening.

I suspect it's because there are three claims using one farm business email address as the point of contact. Which there's nothing at all wrong with of course. Silly beggars.
