Dont see much difference in it and my uncles Keenan, the time I bought the tub it was a demonstrator and was 3000 pounds cheaper than new, and 20000 cheaper than the equivalent keenan

Straw has a habit of jamming at the back then coming out in a lump to be totally honest

What stage do you put the straw in?, I always fire it in first with a small amount of silage and give it a cpl of minutes but then I'm using chopped straw which helps.

I stopped using it, wasnt worth the bother. Used to put in the straw then potatoes then meal then hook grab on and put in silage
Less fuel, but its using more power as we are doing a bigger mix. Keenan was 2 mixes per day, now 3 mixes for 2 days. In an ideal world I would have a twin tub and do one mix but we would struggle with it in our yard. We would need a bigger tractor as well. Currently using a 3095 (100hp) and it works hard on a 5 ton mix.
Biggest running cost on a Keenan is shearing off blades. Never going to happen on a tub.
Sadly the sales force can't be bothered to sell them...
