A lot of trash on the surface after our Claydon twin disc demo. Is a pre-em going to work well into this? What do the hard core no-tillers do?
I hope so, I’ve sprayed a pre-em on that sort of cover! Used 200l water.A lot of trash on the surface after our Claydon twin disc demo. Is a pre-em going to work well into this? What do the hard core no-tillers do?

I don't think it does work, as it can't reach the soil. I tend to leave it and go post em, but don't have the blackgrass pressure.A lot of trash on the surface after our Claydon twin disc demo. Is a pre-em going to work well into this? What do the hard core no-tillers do?

Any sort of OM will lock up the pre-em; it looks fairly black soil already (?) whether you’d dare not put it on is another matterA lot of trash on the surface after our Claydon twin disc demo. Is a pre-em going to work well into this? What do the hard core no-tillers do?

it takes osr a long time to die from a low dose of roundupI had done it for last few years- only it’s to Osr trash drilled on green, this year very thick vols. I seem to get cleaner ground after pre ems put on to a thick cover.
Don’t ask me why?!
one problem I have had this year is osr vols not completely being killed after glyphosate with the pre em. Not too worried as will be tidied in spring. Any ideas?

If it is not growing away it will not survive the winter and is not taking up nutrientshow long? Over 6 weeks?
