Hey everyone,
I hope this is ok to post (if not I'll remove). Just looking for some advice.
I have been offered a 5 month contract at a 400 size herd for calf rearing and just general cow maintenance. However I'm also at university but I want to leave if I can find a job. If I did take the contract it would take my total experience in dairy and beef farming up to 7-8 months. I've also done a month of arable farming and have 5+ years experience in equestrian.
Would any of you consider giving a full tine job to someone with this much experience? I don't want to risk leaving university early, and leaving my part time job if I don't have enough experience to get a full job afterwards.
Thanks in advance.
Fred
