Any more recent pictures as may give us a clue as to what’s happened? This was the field 12 days ago after it had been drilled 10 days and it's probably had 50mm of rain since

Correct you are, it was rushed in before some rain and drilled with a guttler, it's mega firm and would of flat rolled the next day but it came very wet and then the clover germinated so quick I thought I best leave it alone until it's established.Only one criticism hope it's not taken the wrong way but it don't look like it's been rolled ,
Looks OK in that pic , so the clover has disappeared since ?This was the field 12 days ago after it had been drilled 10 days and it's probably had 50mm of rain since
Yep disappeared since, yes prota plusLooks OK in that pic , so the clover has disappeared since ?
Would prob have helped keep the moisture in and clovers going if it had been rolled after drill, is it prota plus?
Yes it would geminate in acid soil then die off although it would need to be below 5.5 before you noticed much lossWas 6.3 couple of years ago and had some prilled stuff last year, if it was lime would it have germinated though?
Got a slug pelleter on a bike?On closer inspection it does look like somethings eating a little bit of the leaf which is then killing it?
No I haven't but the fert spreader is hooked upGot a slug pelleter on a bike?
Pretty sure it’s slugsNo I haven't but the fert spreader is hooked up
by the looks of it a poor cloddy seedbed. and as @Kevtherev says slugs. This was the field 12 days ago after it had been drilled 10 days and it's probably had 50mm of rain since
Same here with cover and Bumblebird mixes. Stale seedbeds have been nigh on impossible the past two SpringsI've had some prota plus in since last day of April and been dormant for weeks in dry winds , weeds all come and just getting going now but it was rolled well , wonder if it is rolling related or residues !
It's a freaking nightmare putting clover crops in in spring with this poxy weather and can't spray the crap out till clover has gone next year , may aswell just do false seedbed in April and leave it till 1st June spray the crap out and seed it then cos its still no further forward than going in early .
