Not much there for the small scale arable farmer.
Maybe I could buy some slurry equipment, cut it up, and fashion it into a grain drier.

Interested to know where the balance required to top up the grant for any of the items to the purchase price inflated by suppliers will come from in the absence of BPS and profit.

Can even get calf jackets now.
Just bumps the price up for those that don't want or need to spend.
Lots of expensive techy stuff. Can get money for cow mattress but not mats. Geared towards intensive housed herds?

Notional full cost of item is £68k.....

Are we only supposed to invest in our businesses every 2 or 3 years when they announce a grant?
About to buy an automatic milk feeder for lambs but there is no way the grant will be processed in time for lambing this year so will end up paying for 100% of that too!

Don’t worry, bet it was cheaper couple of years ago than what you would have to pay now with the grant.
