I bought the 77 to take a few hours of the 75 (just the lighter jobs), I've had it 18months ish and it's taken a lot to get it upto standard!!me thinks the previous owner let it go abit:banghead:,

The clutch cable was melted, the exhaust was fecked pretty much right thru, new grammer seat, Puh refurb, alternator, sort out 50% of the lights and wire the beacons up properly (it looked like a 3 year old could have done a better job of the pervious effort:rolleyes:) 4wd clutch pack & handbrake overhaul, tls accumulators at eye watering price!!! And Theres a front linkage with accumulator on order of guy

So it's getting upto standard now,

Will be fitting a creeper box as soon as it lands from the states( for hedge cutter that needs 700 pto rpm)

I used it on first cut silage carting for a few weeks before I sorted the tls which tested the grammer seat but it's loads better now the accumulators have been fitted,

It's main job it on the big hedge cutter it's ideal for that, also used it for rolling, carting etc it is dated compared to 75 but I'm happy to jump on either and there is a certain something about the 77;)

A few picsView attachment 89654

Was on 20.8's when i bought it, got some 710/600's put on her pic below is not long after I got it

Now it's on proper adjustable 600 fronts and 650/42 rears

I think the 75 has overtaken the 77 on the hours now:facepalm:

Thanks for interest
awesome pair of tractors you have there seriously considering going to look at a 7710 as my 6920s has been nothing but one big error code since buying it how do you find the lift capacity on the 7710 probably the heaviest things i would be asking of it would be a Kuhn 122 5furrow and a claydon 3 meter sr is there any advice you would give if i can go see this one im looking at?

What @nick... said in that other thread,...if it's got tls check it's not solid if it is £1200(incl discount) for 3x accumulators, check exhaust under bonnet, and I couldn't stand the oe seat so spent 900 odd quid on a posh tan coloured grammer which has improved it 100%(original seat is probs fine for rolling or slow jobs but was shocking for road work)

Where is the one your looking at someone on hear may know abit of history?

@Guy are you getting pm's? Any news on the linkage?

Feckin hate it when this happens lol no harm done yet tho:whistle:

I think id cry if my tractor got assaulted by a tree.hedge cutting at the moment with my 6620 and got some curtains tied over the bonnet to save the scratches and a towel over the rear of tractor over the hydraulics to keep all the chippings out which allways seem impossoble to remove
Nick...

Got abit greedy that day :ROFLMAO: it looks worse than it was It's on the to do list to knock up abit of protection for it but never seem to get round to sorting anythin, not so bad cuttin this time of year I do most cutting infront of the drill after harvest so loads of berries which are a pita to get of the bonnet :banghead:

hi thanks there's a few im interested in just considering my options at the moment want something relatively simple but with enough electronics to make it usable the 69 has been a disappointment i need to speak with my finance man first to see how easy it will be to change over as ive still got two years left on the 69 there's a load in France i wouldn't mind having a look at its just weather the cost of bringing it back would outweigh paying a fair amount extra here there's a lovely 50k autoquad in Germany too but that's a dream i think.

Quick update, had her on the dyno this morning, wish I did a video but didn't,

And it's exactly the same as @JDJ 234hp without boost(y)

Didn't get a printout so not sure on the tourque but it's got lots!

Think that ull do for time being, + the dyno was freezing cold so it might have been a little more with a dyno at normal working temp(or maybe that's wishful thinking;))

As far as power to weight goes it's brilliant on road work, and should make light work of the ktwo trio when the time comes to spread :)

yes spent a lot of its early life with a tuneit box till the error codes drove me mental and more recently remapped & egr sorted, not blameing chip or remap for this failure just bad luck, I'l ditch the vnt with a wastgated turbo if it could be done one day...

I see the Derv Doctor now fits complete EGR & VGT removal Back to standard turbo and it sounds more like a 20 series (saw the vid on FB) so if the VGT goes you can get the kit for less than a turbo from JD. I must admit I would be tempted if our 75 gave bother.

Seen that on fb and me and Gavin the derv doc chat quite regularly on fb so he keeps me posted, if my vgt plays up I'll do the conversion, I've been asking him what the options are to alter my map for more hp:whistle::facepalm:, I'm tempted watch this space :D

We'd derate to get a bit longer out of it ..................

Derate?!! What's that meano_O lol,

She's done over 300 hours now and has run cooler than it's ever ran with no egr cooler junk, always warmed up n cooled down is the key ;), I would like to no what it's putting out on boost, but that means paying to go onto the dealers service adviser when it's on the dyno

It does sound well I'll get a vid in the near future (y)
