Jacob Rees-Mogg

I quite like Jacob. He's a very clever chap, but I don't agree with everything that he says. He was on the west country part of The Sunday Politics this morning talking about being able to import cheap beef from the USA after brexit.

Would this be the same beef that is raised using hormones? Don't they wash their chicken meat with chlorine?

I'd rather have coronation chicken.

Yes, hormone beef and chlorinated chicken. The use of chlorine makes up for the fact that some of their production practices are minging. You can't use it in the UK, instead hygiene practices are a lot tighter.

Rees-Mogg is like that old Grandfather clock you have in the hall. It sort of harks back to and reminds you of a bygone era, gets in the way a lot and if you remember to wind it properly, it will actually tell the correct time for half a day. You keep telling yourself that by having it around it will be worth something one day. The man belongs in the Victorian era. He hasn't a scoobies about modern Britain though he is not alone in that respect when it comes to British politicians.

he's not changed has he? arrogant baztard! did he get married ? if he did i hope she has a good legal team and fleece's him ;)
Married with six? kids but rumour has it she is wealthier than he is. Could be in trouble at the next election with boundary changes and a rout of Tories in the BANES elections recently including the leader of the Con group losing his seat in the Chew Valley after 32 years.

I should think the average age of a voter in the Chew Valley is 109. Hardly anyone lives there, surely.

Bristol stockbroker belt dear boy, lots of young uns, primary schools full so the influx must be young enough to breed.
Lots of young women on the school run driving cars far wider than they can handle and most looking as though they have a live wasp in their mouth at all times.

Pity the male partners of these ladies that lunch. You can spot them in the local when the ‘girls’ have decided that their men should have a night out together to bond. These poor sods look knackered on a Friday night having been flogged all week to pay the mortgage and the finance on the electric lease car as they nervously sip a pint and make small talk they can’t be bothered with with blokes their women at the school gate have decided they should be friends with.. Only a matter of time before these poor chaps are discarded because it is financially worthwhile for their women to break the marriage contract. All of them spending money they don’t have to buy sh!t they don’t need to impress impress people they don’t particularly like,
What a wonderful world!!
