Is this a DCM Control box, or manual with the two guages?Got an issue with the dryer I need some guidance on please.
Dryer starts, heats up ok, but doesn’t come back in once grain temperature is reached as it trips the high limit stat.
Should it go to a low flame then come back in when the temperature drops
Ancient, manual with 2 gaugesIs this a DCM Control box, or manual with the two guages?
I’m running theDo you have the handbook? All in there
Yes, just seems to be a high flameSo the flame is constant. Not high and low.
Sounds like you need to increase the Plenum Temp setting to be above your grain target temperature
Book says max 180 plenum for wheat but ran it at 225 to get it to get the grain temp to 100 without the high temp tripping.@yellrom is right, Josh will know.

is this setting 50* higher than your plenum temp on the dial?
Thanks, I’ll get in touchIf you give them a ring they will tell you what’s wrong and probably have the partsReconditioned Grain Driers East Yorkshire | Opico Dryers For Sale

Sorry modulating valve. Turn it counter clockwise a little then watch the plenum temp stabilize. 250 is very high for your plenum temp. Make sure you are running the fan at 520rpm.Trying to get the grain temp to 120*F this morning but plenum is tripping at 250*F so upped it to 275*F
How do you set plenum temperature via the regulator
You get 1% to 1.5% from the cooling when you are drying from higher moistures.Fans at 520rpm, will have a play with the modulating valve
1st load I’ve over dried, it’s a bit different to doing it in winter.
I have a lot to learn
