It's called Long lane for a reasonNo matter where your coming from, you're only half way there when you get to the entrance of their drive!
Think I would have left well before that....I’ve only dealt with them once maybe 5 years since and won’t be returning. Rung Martin up about a sprayer advertised, said to deal with the salesman (Ben?)
arranged to go there to see it on a tractor to check it out. When I arrived at the office he said it was at the farm up the road ready for us and there was a farm worker there to show us it, have a play and come back to see me when your done.
when we got to the farm there was no tractor on the sprayer, so looked around to find someone. A lad said I’m really busy, know nothing about this but there is a tractor over there just help yourself. I put sprayer on the tractor but it was load sensing and the fittings were wrong. Rung salesman who said come back to office there’s a hydraulic place next door, get what you want and go back and fit it. So I did and got it all plumbed up ready to go, then realised there was no control box!
Another phone call and come back to office the control box is here, so I did. When he handed the control box over I said this isn’t for that sprayer. He was confused, his secretary (Tracey?) agreed and said it was for a different sprayer aswell. They couldn’t find the control box at all so I couldn’t see it working. I ended up leaving after wasting about 5 hours of my day including travelling.
Don’t think that’s really a fair comment tbhSurely it's mainly nicely presented kit bought out of dispersal sales and given the magic £5k lorry ride?
And you could've gone to sale and saved £5k with little or no warranty.Don’t think that’s really a fair comment tbh

Yes it’s that simple. Why don’t you have a go and report back when you’ve made your millionswhy because it’s true? Had a bit of lipstick service off the lorry you even see these s/h dealers at Cambridge buying all this so called junk/rubbish that’s broke and no good for nothing be suprised how much stuff ends up back in a dealers yard at a substantial price rise
Pretty much yeah explain to me what else is needed? A nice yard And being able to chat rubbish.. not like there a franchise and have service vans etc.. go to Cambridge And report back when you see a nice 5k put onit the very next day…Iv bought more rubbish from dealers yards then I ever have at CambridgeYes it’s that simple. Clued up then?Iv bought more rubbish from dealers yards then I ever have at Cambridge
It’s not about if your clued up or not clued up you can drive a tractor on the road in yard perfect works fine etc it’s when it’s at work the issues come to lightClued up then?
I buy a lorry load from there every month. If you actually thing being a dealer and doing the job properly as some do is that easy then you’re totally deluded.Pretty much yeah explain to me what else is needed? Some of them to lazy to wipe lot numbers off and have it on facebook in the line before they are home, get the good lads a bad name .I buy a lorry load from there every month. If you actually thing being a dealer and doing the job properly as some do then you’re totally deluded.
I suspect you’re more associated with the lot numbers wiped and punt it on brigade
Very true. Quite embarrassing some of the adverts you see. Some of them to lazy to wipe lot numbers off and have it on facebook in the line before they are home, get the good lads a bad name .
His drive really needs a service station and a McDonalds about 1/2 way down it to break the trip up and be able to get out, have a leg stretch and something to eat…lAre you sure you're not thinking of JR Firby?
