Ok so needing some 12 foot and 12.5 foot gang slats with some mixing points and 16 foot cubicle beds. Just wondering what prices to expect here in northern ireland?
Theres a few makes slats round here, moores wouldnt be the best with consistant quality out of them.Havn`t a clue on current price but Moore can not be far from you which will cut down the haulage. Very good quality
Would take a fair bit to transport to you, im only about 6 miles from moores,3 miles from creagh and mabe 15-20 miles from fp mccannI suppose it depends on quantity but in 2018 we paid £250 each for 16’ beds and £190 for 12’ non slip slats from Moores delivered
Multiply by 20% for inflation? Possibly more

Iv seen 1s that the stones were showing through the top so i think id prefer creagh, fp mccann, woolsley would be my top picks. My moore slats chipped too easily top and bottom.
Did you deal with Pat ? .Absolutely outstandingOur Moore slats have been fine. done 14 years
Very good service. around 30 loads all turned up when they should.
At the end of the job 1 run of slats was 2ft short. Their fault not ours
In less than 48 hours they had a wagon here just carrying one gang of slats .
Reported you for building a shed or what? How did that affect progress
We have his slats on another tank, they flex badly if you have to drive over them with the loader tractor so wasnt impressed by this or they would of been comin from himGive Ronnie a call
How on earth does someone from Sussex know about Ronnie Smith?Give Ronnie a call
Maybe they're not designed for a tractor and loader!!We have his slats on another tank, they flex badly if you have to drive over them with the loader tractor so wasnt impressed by this or they would of been comin from him
No good for a cow house then, how do you lift a cow thats done the splitsMaybe they're not designed for a tractor and loader!!
There’s normally different load ratings. Depends what you bought. I think the croom ones we put in are classed as tractor ones, with 8t load rating. But they do heavier & lighter ratings. No good for a cow house then, how do you lift a cow thats done the splits
Must ask the question when im pricing. Where is croom? There’s normally different load ratings. Depends what you bought. I think the croom ones we put in are classed as tractor ones, with 8t load rating. But they do heavier & lighter ratings.
County Limerick. Fair haul across the water & down to Devon. But they were competetive, even against locally made panels etc. Well they were in 2021. Their slats are nice. They’ll cut grooves in them too with diamond discs. So its tidy & very grippy.Must ask the question when im pricing. Where is croom?
