Anyone ever had wire break like this before? Had this in 2 spots were barb and rylock split, along with a few spots where the bottom 2 wires are broken. Has it been cut or is it possible for it to break like that?

I’d say definitely cut. No way would that wire break there like that so evenly vertically.

Cut. We have badgers pulling the bottom of stock fences to pieces but they never break.

I would say cut. It looks to clean to be a natural brake. But with the section that only the bottom 2 wires where cut, perhaps they got spooked or broke their nippers in the process.

I have repaired breaks with these, I got a cheap chinese crimping pliers (advice from @steveR I think on a thread here somewhere), bit of a fiddle but a way to repair a break.

No way that would break, finished a job a couple of weeks ago and it’s been cut 4 times by dog walkers.

I think ramblists cutting fences is the biggest recommendation for planting blackthorn hedges on the hedge banks!
