Fence cut or broken

That has been cut. Also looking like a path on the other side unless you made that.

I would say cut. It looks to clean to be a natural brake. But with the section that only the bottom 2 wires where cut, perhaps they got spooked or broke their nippers in the process.
Cheers everyone, confirmed our suspicions. Path through is from our sheep visiting the other side🙈,
Yeah not sure why only some are cut, the ones from the bottom look like wildlife runs so possibly someone cutting it for that reason.

Inform the Police, Tighten the net, Gripple the wires up then buy a trail camera & locate it along the fence out of sight, the culprit will cut them again, however once you know who it is you then gain the upper hand in any legal dispute if you have evidence & you have already informed the authorities.

…are you now issuing your flock with wire cutters🤔

no no....you see this is a point i need to make to the op....the 'concept' of 'advanced foraging ' is to "enable" your flock thru genetics and gentle 'engineering" to forage in this fashion

so...for example....rather than cut the wire you might use a loader bucket to crush a section of fence twixt posts....the genetics then take over as the sheep exploit to feed....if an irate neighbour appears you have plausible deniabilty and cite wild deer as the culprits

I appreciate this is pretty high brow stuff so don't worry if you can't take it all 'on board' at once🙂

Anyone ever had wire break like this before? Had this in 2 spots were barb and rylock split, along with a few spots where the bottom 2 wires are broken. Has it been cut or is it possible for it to break like that?

Yes had exactly same thing happen , scroats came down drive and cut through 2 lots of sheep wire to go right hand and navigate across fields around out side of buildings , cut through another to carry on the journey and cut through another to get to shipping container just to have a look in it but there was nowt in it any way .
The fekin carnage these wànkers cause makes you sick , they need the wolf setting on them 🤬

Police report + trail cam = criminal damage. Then social media.
+1 - You'l get no result but report it as criminal damage , its then logged as a crime . Police forces don't like high crime figures.
Had pikies take £400 of vacuumpump (looked like scrap but was not) off my drive. Reported and got incident no.
Puts you in a good position for future problems. I've got camera up now .
+1 For hidden trail cam . Can be used else where at a later date.
