Sounds like a switched on sort of chap. Must have been a great help to you. Was he spreading slurry at the time? Had he heard that England won the football world cup in 1966?.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Why do you think people on the continent should be interested in what the UK's up to. :scratchhead: And why would he be interested in England's one win, Germany has won it four times.

Perhaps some Leavers may eventually come to that conclusion themselves.
This morning I'm mainly looking forward to Boris leading the country, just hope he doesn't run away again if the going gets tough

I must admit from over here it is like watching an endless series of "Yes Minister" and Boris would be a excellent British take on Trump.

I completely agree. My lame attempt at satire when I said "my twitter feed is full of 9 candidates leadership speeches" was in reference to the fact 10 are running but the one who is the favourite to win, isn't doing any interviews whatsoever, without doubt to avoid the embarrassment of him being unable to answer slightly pressing questions. Lunatics and asylum etc..

Boris will walk it if he keeps his mouth shut
Is it worrying that Boris has to hide and keep his mouth shut during an election where he is odds on favourite?
Will he have to hide and keep his mouth shut in a General election?
Will he have to hide and keep his mouth shut as PM?

If Boris wins...and I hope he does ...I think he will struggle to run the Goverment as it is.
I think Corbin will immediately go for a vote of no confidence in the Govt.
Boris will need the help of the NI and Change UK MPs to and they will want deals and promises to lend him their vote .
If I was him I would call a general election straightaway with a promise to leave on 31/10/19 whatever. That way the electorate will know where they are ,the Brexit Party will have no platform to stand on and the very fact that, like it or not,Boris is very popular he will hopefully win through with a better majority.

Boris had plenty to say at his press conference yesterday and he spoke very well without mentioning piccaninies.

He’s not hiding,he’s doing what he needs to do now!All that matters atm is getting enough MPs to make sure that he’s on the final ballot, once that hurdle is passed he can move on to the next stage

Boris spoke very well whilst reading from a script written by someone else (probably JRM). The damage is done when he has to think on his feet and answer questions. Edit - I absolutely hope he gets the job, few deserve it more than him!
