Where do I find one?

Everything I find is just for brick or timber.

83mm would probably do if it's a better size to find.

Maybe not as cheap but it'll drill many holes and in hard steels and through welds no problem. Thought you could only get them type with 19mm mag drill shank but obviously not.
Are they easier on the machine, or to put it another way do they let you drill a larger hole than you could with a standard mag drill cutter?

No idea, my magdrill will take 100mm cutters so nothing really phases it😂 biggest I got is 70mm and it dont even brake a sweat.

Once you get to the bigger cutters the TCT ones can work out cheaper or similar price to a solid HSS one cause a TCT cutter uses a cheaper material to get the size then tungsten tips which is the bit that costs the money.

The Tungsten ones I have do cut nicer though and I cut some nasty welds out with mine that blunted a normal HSS one quite quickly.

I remember 20 or so years ago buying a hole saw to make holes in plates for matbro cones … I bought it from local Charlies I used pillar drill which also came from Charlie’s .. I used plenty of coolant with bucket underneath but made mistake of having drill going too slow for first hole
