Sencrop weather stations

But are we comparing apples & apples or apples & pears? Both at the same height, same opening and appeture, same measurement principle? Not looking to cause a fight, just interested 😊
If there's been 10mm there's been 10mm doesn't matter if the rain gatis 3 foot round or 2 inch square it's designed to accurately measure the same amount

I respectfully disagree, take this test carried out last year... both manual rain gauges, both designed to accurately record rain, both installed within less than a meter of each other, in the same field for the exact same length of time... readings speak for themselves! All I'm saying is that in order to argue, you've got to put them in a fair fight... you would pit a 25 year old banger against a modern supercar and say the old one is just as fast because it can also reach 60mph

Fair enough. In theory it should be the same but guess in reality it doesn't always work

It’s not reading humidity, it’s intermittently sending temperature data. It was damp I dried it out and it’s no better. I have to renew the app in 20 days so it’s a good time to bail, I’ve got a wind Sencrop to move on.

Hello @Will Blackburn have you tried Cordulus ?

How is it ?
Seems very good, rainfall was slightly up compared to the Sencrop whilst the two were running concurrently. There have been no data gaps, which is much improved. I like the built in soil temperature probe. (Could be an early drilling year for maize). The forecast appears to be pretty good. Couple of things it could do better, the warning function where you are sent a message when a self set up weather parameter it crossed was very useful and the ability to have other users within the same organisation is something I miss. I have just messaged them to add employees so we shall see how that goes.
