Workwear trouser recommendations?

Do you claim the vat back ?

Can't see why not, their UK arm is based in Southampton or it's not like you are importing something, etc and it's all legitimately classed as PPE (which they also sell shed loads of) and thus a business expense?

Good gear. Comes in a variety of lengths and colours. Look at the material thickness/thread count as the heavier stuff is more suitable for winter use whilst the lighter stuff is more suited to summer. Bear in mind the stuff is manufactured in Germany so if the sales stuff is saying 'winter' it really is going to be for winter use.

The cheaper ranges I think are lighter fabric but I'm not 100% on that. I have only ever bought the cheaper stuff- the 'Active' and 'Motion' ranges being the cheaper end of things. If you want a full blown super-duper warm, double sided safety fudgeer with more pockets than a pop tart wrapper then it won't be cheap.

Just swapped from Screwfix site harriers to regatta pro scandal - really tough cordura that feels more hard-wearing. Tend to be one size bigger than my regular size (so bought the next size down) but apart from that I'm impressed.

I’ve got some Goodyear ones off Amazon, id recommend, comfy and quite tough. First pair done 3yr of heavy rotation and good as new still.

used dickies,, but now not as good! Tried scruffs poor fit! On JCB WORKWEAR, fit well, comfortable, soon fade or the Mrs is too keen on the washing side of it, not the cheapest, but seem to last,

I got a stock of dickies in there online closing down sale when they went away from workwear for a while and they lasted well, Havent been able to find the same again and the ones I did try not the same fit or quality, Tried a few various others but currently on these
The waist is a slightly tighter fit on them but good fit an extra panel in the crotch and really good pockets. Planning to order more and maybe some of these lighter ones for summer.
