Can it get any worse ? We now have a County Councillar ( con) stating that our roads are bad with potholes and the cause being farm equipment utilizing the highways & byeways. This was headlines in the EDP this morning.

Went to a dealer nr Oxford recently about a different matter. Noticed his Kress robotic mowers. He said that they don’t need a buried wire and some can cope with long grass. Kress are the German Husqvarna I gather. I’m Has anyone had any experience of the non-buries cable type of robotic mowers?

I have a stihl ms231 with a 14inch bar. Would this only have one type of chain as standard or could it be supplied with different options of chain. Can I just order a 14inch chain for a stihl ms231 or do I need to specify pitch and width.

As above. I ask as the squire combination locks we use on an end of track gate don’t seem to last more than about 4 months, admittedly lock opened/ closed up to 12 times a day as at the end of farm track .

For me I have had no better motor than my Daihatsu 4trak, why were these things allowed to be discontinued. The only off roader I ever was in as good as it was an old Subaru forester we used for going round parks at home, So anyone else miss the old 4 tracks?
