Looking at Skyfall this morning, despite being very clean thus far, some yellow rust is starting to come on leaf 2, T3 was just tebuconazole about ten days ago, I know its getting late but a T4 going on Monday as soon as it arrives.
Anyone seeing many or sprayed for them this year? Seeing quite a few the last few evenings. Agronomist says it’s past the stage of worrying about them! Is that the case mid flowering.
As above. NO flowers left so no risk to bees. Don't normally treat because of this and usually worse on headlands, but these are right through the crop now. Above 10% headland threshold but not there in yet in the centre of field. Plants with big colonies on are really suffering but I guess they...
Who is doing one and what are you using .
Forecast after Wednesday is looking dry and warmer, so wondering if there’s much to be gained, other than piece of mind .
Anyone having issues with drip stop valve rubbers failing when spraying Corteva’s Univoq, Iconiq or similar?
Seems to a bit of an issue among sprayer drivers having widespread DSV failure on FB.
I have split a heavy clay field into 4. Direct drill, shallow cultivation, Plough and shallow discs with low disturbance to 200mm. This is the first year. 5th winter wheat, straw removed, FYM and compost applied April 2021 in previous crop. Unfortunately the grass weeds seem to have suddenly got...
cant make my mind up wether to spray or not , its been cold and dry here ,rape more or less in full flower no petals on leaves, reckon we might do more damage with the sprayer than benefit , agronomist wants to as a precautionary measure , whats everybody doing ps agronomist wants to go twice
For those who have experience of the crop, call it quits and replace, or keep it ?
Looking like pigeons have hammered it, a small area in the corner is a lot taller 😢

What are peoples thoughts on what to use for septoria control at t0 this year? Didn't do a t0 for septoria last year, only teb on yellow rust susceptible varieties, but had too much septoria in may/june for my liking.
What is there?
Folpet?
Can you get mancozeb this year?
Triazole for the...
Talking to a company we deal with today and they’ve inquired if I’d be interested and in growing some Spelt as a second wheat in our rotation. Offering a decent premium over feed wheat and apparently you only need half the inputs of modern varieties. This sounds quite interesting/appealing...
Struggling with controlling groundsel, used Tribenuron last year at 30g/ha, seemed to work best when mixed with tebuconazole, so what adjuvants would have the same characteristics as teb?
Is there anything else that would give more reliable control, don’t want to use Dff as I think it kills soil...
