before my time, but seems there was a flax growing group round here back in the day that dad was in. It’s funny, every once in a while someone makes reference to an old JD mower conditioner that was parked up/abandoned in a corner of a yard with the drum absolutely bound tight with the stuff.
it must’ve been really bad for my old man to give up on it, I’ve never known him to throw the towel in on anything.

Only amongst wild bird seed from the pet store, that I planted as I was short of the pukka stuff on Sat afternoon
Quite amusing to see the fabled 5 fingered leaves waving in the breeze. It did not like a thin, sandy soil, or the early frost!!
