First offence was it?

We had a VW LT van and a Commer walk-thru converted to a Travelling Butchers shop, both out of tax and test, advertised in the Yorkshire Post.

Chap rolls up one Saturday and offers what we were asking, dives in his pocket and pulls out a wad of notes, gives some address in Doncaster to put on the V5s, ' when you coming to collect them' I asked, he looks strangely at me and says, 'I'm taking them now', two lads get out of the car and off and away with them, neither one looked older than 15. I also noticed the car they came in had no tax disc visible.

I sent the paperwork to DVLA and never heard anymore about them, although I did worry for the rest of the day because they were still officially registered in our name
