3130 JD hydrostatic front wheel drive

Hi all
I am starting to restore my 3130 4WD JD just wondering if anyone has the original manual that covers the hydrostatic front axle i like a few pictures of this section if anyone can help

Just finished restoring my JD 2130 so up for a new challenge

I remember getting one like that with hydrostatic four-wheel drive as a new demonstrator when they came out. It was pushed as having a tighter turning circle than mechanical four-wheel drives of the time. But we are hill farmers and need the in-gear hold-back for downhill as much as uphill grip.
Which you don't get from this system but it was not a bad tractor.

Thats a very interesting point I drove them myself as a youngster in the 80s had a great time on them as a young lad and loved the opu cabs fitted on the 30 series models .
I always like them after that so i now have restored a JD 1130 3Cylinder a JD 2130 4cylinder so i gave it some taught and decided to do the JD 3130 6Cylinder all with opu cabs

If the 3130 ends up like those x2 you being doing fine, value of them is only going one way.
Sekura OPU was a massive step up from the previous cabs, opening roof hatch, heater & a radio you could almost hear was almost revolutionary at the time

Would anyone know why i have a strong leak from this area of the flywheel housing the engine is also misfiring 3130 JD i am fairly sure that it is diesel leaking out of this area

I hope you didn't pay very much.
My 3130 had a lovely engine but the 4 wheel drive when it worked, seldom, would drag you in but couldn't get you out of trouble. I got rid when the hydraulics were giving up.

Didn't pay alot engine started and was running fine at first until this leaking started

The only diesel in that area is in the fuel pipe across the back of the engine. Is it not more likely to be failure of the gasket between the cylinder block and engine backplate??
