Are they not still down the side of the cab behind the boom ?

A little vented plate held on with 1 screw kinda down from the dashboard area on the outside of the cab ?

Front rhs corner of cab, next to boom. Phillips head screw takes off the grate. Paper filter behind.

Best part is, you’ll change it and the fans still crap, and if like our 536, it seems to be impossible to get the right sized replacement.

Same people who used to site the hand primer directly below the turbo. Needed a skin graft if someone ran them dry.

May have one on inside if cab too above throttle pedal.

Some have a secondary one behind the actual heater box too.

this is my land lords 2008 541-70, the outer filter is easy, the inner filter is a pain in the arse, got to pull the whole heater box out to replace it but i be most dont even know its there, landlords was blocked solid, has much more air flow in cab now.

the in cab filter is only on the newer T4 onwards machines i think? theres 2 thumb screws to remove a panel then the filter slides out. located above throttle pedal more or less.

Mines not tier 4 at that age, so hopefully there's not one then.

I’m glad it isn’t just me that doesn’t know where these are! But my 2015 541-70 has the external canister filter behind the cab so will it still have these other 2 paper filters?

My 2008 536-70 has one behind the little grill under the boom, which made a decent difference when I cleaned it. Then when the dealer was out he removed the one that’s much further in and cleaned that.
