6180 autotronic 4 problem

Hello,
I have a Massey Ferguson 6180 tractor with a problem on the autotronic 4 transmission control unit. I was told that the unit was damaged by a short somewhere on the harness, but I can't seem to find any wiring diagrams for this particular transmission control unit. is here anyone that can provide the necessary diagrams, or could point me where to find them? I found only autotronic 2 diagrams.

The 6180 will either have an auto 2 or 3 brain fitted.
It would have an auto 2 fitted when new but if the brain was replaced there was a kit you could fit to put an auto 3 into it.

The issue I am having is that the tractor is stuck in low range. From the dealer I was told that the control unit was damaged due to a short on one of the three positive cables. So that's what I am trying to find: on what cables dose the control unis recive power. I took a look under the tractor where the unit was mounted and found a yellow cable that corroded and broke from it's plug. In that respective plug goes another black wire. I got the unit repaired but I am not sure if there's another cable that could damage it again.

can you post some photos of the auto box and wiring that you have then we can see what your problem is ? also of the gearbox side plate where the gearsticks go in

If is auto 4 it should be shiny aluminium box like on fendt

Where are you in the world?

Europe, Romania. If it is an auto 3 do you know where to find a diagram for it?

start at the battery the yellow wire that is broken and the red thats with it connect to the battery then up behind the air filter there are two fuses there check them repair the break in the yellow wire.
then re connect the auto box . then try all the controls and report what works

Done all that. The tractor seems to work fine but was not properly tested. Thanks for your help! I will come back with updates if I find something wrong.

Hey i have the same problem with programing the Auto tronic kit.But dif lock and 4 wd drive not working.Only working on B and C range.Any had a problem like this before?

Have you set the parameters for the ECU after you programmed it
