Thanks everyone for your replies. It's an Iseki TG6675 so I am a bit worried about the weight but does have 350kg weight up front do you think that'll be okay?

It will be fine. Don’t expect to do 10mph thou. Try not to overload the tractor. Make sure the radiator is clean and keep the revs at pto speed. If it starts pulling the engine down bring it down a gear or two. Plus side is you won’t be slipping belts or slip clutches.

Perfect cheers everyone. It's level ground and the tractor is in good condition so think I am going to get an 8ft and give it a go.

Used to run a 10’ kuhn on 80hp. Big, flat fields could mow at 30k in a nice young ley. So can’t see a problem with 8’ at a sensible speed.
