2019 Highlights include:

A high temperature of 31.3C in August. 2018: 38.5C in August.

A low temperature of -36.2C in February. 2018: -37.8C in January.

Most precipitation of 131.4mm in June. 2018: 63.7mm in June.
Least precipitation of 3.8mm in January and March. 2018: 5.4mm in January.
Total precipitation of 397.6mm. 2018: 305.1mm

Highest wind gust speed of 94 km/hr in July. 2018: 84 km/hr in October.
Many thanks for this thread, it's been enlightening. We all "know" Canada is cold but this thread has shown just how cold and how unexpectedly hot you get in your area.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
