Why should I? And what would it prove if I did? I'm not and never have been an apologist for a or any politician. But I do know a rat and a liar.

Well using your analysis, we have the most popular ' rat and liar ' running the Country, as he and his party got the most votes. So, does that make him the biggest rat, smallest rat or 'you dirty rat' ?

Bloody politicians, remember Jack Cunningham taking over at Defra in the middle of foot and mouth and his number one priority was redecorating his office including the purchase of a desk for 210k, they really do live in a different world

Re pm flat , Its not his flat its the pm's flat just like parliament isn't there house they just work there at the moment in 50 years think of all the money that has been used to make London look nice for both parties , arguing over wallpaper really is Tit for tat nowerdays

It’s not an argument about wallpaper, the question is probity. Ingoing PM’s have an automatic grant of £30,000, to do the place up, change paint from socialist red to conservative blue and vice versa. If they feel the need to spend more, that is up to them to spend it.
The issue here was he was looking for a £60,000 bung from a friend to spend on the place. Further infuriating his core supporters, the blue rinse brigade in England by describing their favourite shop, John Lewis as downmarket tat. 😧😂
Boris is famous for not giving a damn about his tailoring, haircut, eating, etc. which leaves one to the sole conclusion that his mistress rules the roost.

Same old sh!te from Starmer, Labour and the Left, when they're on their ar$es, to rely on the politics of envy. Must be a pi$$er for them when all they can crib Bozza for is his, ( or Carrie's) choice of wallpaper, lol :ROFLMAO:

Its only a flat where he is temporarily resident. Bet most landlords on here would be horrified if they were expected to have to spend £30K every time tenant changed. Its not as if the last tenant trashed it, did she🤔

It's not called that. It's call deceitful. Only called getting things done if you vote conservative (or for whichever party is screwing the money out at the time). And Johnson is a slimy coward (and liar)

Bozza certainly had a rabid dog moment in yesterday mornings PMQ's after being needled by Starmer's repeated questioning. He let rip with an angry reply and more lies than even Trump could have managed in a minute. :banghead:

I see some of the press have nicknamed M/s Symonds Carrie Antoinette after her tacky extravagances. :D

The general public don't give a flying fig who paid for it. However, the London press and Labour see a chink in the armour. They are almost making disclaimers every time they report it. The hypocrisy is astounding, how many MP's took early retirement to avoid the expenses scandal ?
Think you could have said that earlier but Boris seems mired in sleeze, bad judgement & an easy liar which will have an effect sooner rather than later, how much will become apparent after the local elections.
Whatever the outcome unfortunately the guys a mess & definitely no suited for office of any kind

The point is, we should have moved on from Expenses scandals.

Bojo like to give the image that he's one of the people, just a hard working lad fighting against establishment figures. While all the time hes just another Eton toff boy Tory who thinks the rules dont apply to him.

Normally when doing alterations to other peoples property you have to take a neutral tone as you are only a temporary resident (very temporary in Boris's case), you do not want it having to be redone every time it changes hands!

He is careless, chaotic and cavalier (as quoted by one hack today) however, he get's things done, and that's what people like. After the shambles at the start of Covid the opposition should be way ahead in the poll's, but they are not, they are way behind. Point made.......

Think that says far more of the opposition rather than Boris's ability to manage anything!

Well he got brexit done, and has redeemed himself with the vaccination roll out in my view. However without the great success of that, he was on thin ice, I agree.
Not sure much of either success can really be attributed to Boris, more like the people behind the scenes doing the hard work.
