Abreast parlour

Hi looking to retrofit a Abreast parlour and dairy into our rented farm. A 6/6 to a 10/10 would fit. We are in Cumbria but willing to travel a bit. If a parlour was not available until spring it would be workable. Thankyou. 07813562201.

when we restarted, couldn't find a herringbone, so put a step up a/breast in, last milked in one, 40 yrs prior, it was cheap, it worked, but we were so pleased when we put a h/bone back in !
saw a back to back a/breast, that was very quick to milk through, they have advantages, perhaps more disadvantages. We went back in on a shoe string, the whole parlour and bulk tank, cost about £5,000 fitted, with a lot of hard work.
Depends on how many you intend to milk. The annoying bit for us, once fitted, found loads of h/b's, when we altered, the bits came from 5 h/bs, that pretty well cost £0.

Have you had a look at the thread " old milking parlours for small herds" ? Well worth a look as you can see you there's plenty out there milking in small setups.
How many you planning on milking?
