hi...
recently I have bought a used mf8660, with trimble receiver 252 on the roof, and ag leader insight monitor (autosteer unlocked) in the cab, and there is, in the cab, on the right one missing part, some computer unit...
i think there fits trimble nav 1 or 2 controller, but I am not shure....
does somebody know, which controler is compatibile with those components???

I would like to enable autosteer, but first i must buy missing parts...

thank you!

Nav 2 did work with 252 and Insight but it would need to be on old, like very old firmware.
Don't know about Nav 1 though.

Is there some other (cheaper) controler compatible with those components, or it will work only with this trimble nav2???

A week ago I bought 2 pieces nav 2 controller, and one more insight display (autopilot unlocked)...
One nav 2 I hooked on my massey which is autosteer ready, and autopilot works propertly... I had some problems with nav controller calibration till I found out that I need laptop and toolbox 2 softvare to do it... it is not possible over the insight display...

now I have another problem, I have an extra one Insight display and one extra nav2 controller, and maybe I have the opportunity to buy cheap one more ag262 receiver...
So I would like to have one more autopilot setup for another tractor....
That what I miss is the wiring harness and some steering wheel electrical motor drive unit...
Does somebody know which wiring harness I need, and which wheel motor drive (like mdu g4) will be compatible with all the equipment???
Thank you!

I am trying to find a cheap antenna which will work with nav 2 controller..
i already use one setup with nav2, aggps262, and an old agleader insight display, and it work just fine for me...

since I have one more autopilot ready tractor and one extra nav2, insight, and all the wireness, all I need is an antenna...

I did some research and I find that I need antenna which has some TSIP protocol to work with nav2 controller...

can somebody recomand some cheap antenna wich will work with my equipment??

I need it only for WAAS, so I don’t wont spend too much money, we are small farm...

there is some aggps 162 receiver but nobody in Europe sell it???... (I am from croatia, sorry for bed english)...
I don’t know, would nav500 antenna work with nav2??? Anybody sells some used one??

thank you!

We run the same setup in one machine. Think the antenna is a Trimble Ag252 with the grey radio receiver below it. They are old and I would have thought you could fine a cheap one second hand?

Yes I know for 252...
But I thought, if it is only for Waas in price of used 252 maybe I can get a new one 162...

but I found later, there is a problem about 162, it needs an unlock for autopilot, and you can buy it only in USA... so maybe is an used 252 realy the best solution for what I need...

thanks!

it would also give you scope if you later decide you want a better signal than WAAS. Although saying that I don't think it would be compatible with rangepoint but would be useful if you had a neighbour with an RTK signal.
