So what’s left on farm to sell , it seems the usual bull has been out to suppress the domestic markets with the biggest stocks this century which is going to be carried over , only a couple of loads of barley left here and locally not a lot about.

Massive carry over.......how many farms are down on cropping. We are 50% less wheat than planned (abet on a very very small scale to most!)
And this next 4 weeks....as @yellow belly has previously mentioned.......grain fill time. What if? another 2012 with dull, low temps, low radiance. = low bushel weights, yields dropping off etc. Soon knock another million ton off.

Doesn't matter, we are unimportant on the world stage. They'll just import some more.

I think it was megatons ,if I'm not mistaken Copse is one
of the main suppliers of the world.

iirc AHDB didn’t think platings were significantly down last autumn at one point ? ……….. they clearly don’t get out much or are reading the USDA playbook of market manipulation??

1 load of barley and one of wheat here. Don't know of anyone who still has any in store locally.

No need for that. Our good friends in the trade are busy organising the import of millions of tonnes of grains to keep the price down here for the next marketing year.

They are basically engineering a take it or leave it situation in the market, which obviously suits them very well.
