Omnivore posts don't last long on vegan FB pages, (I know, I'm constantly putting them on!!).
Don't give your opinion on meat eating, that makes you no better than them, pick one or two comments that are obviously false and just repeating rubbish that they have read and politely point out with facts why they are "mistaken"Omnivore posts don't last long on vegan FB pages, (I know, I'm constantly putting them on!!).
I'd say the we eat balanced campaign has been infiltrated by a vegan who's running the shop.
His missus is pulling the strings.Yes believe me. Boris and co aren’t the fools they are made out to be. Prepare for a golden era.
Thanks for putting your head above the parapet on here Paul. Thanks for the posts. Think we're all coming at this from point of how can we best engage consumers in positive conversations on dairy/meat. While milions of people have seen our TV ads, print ads in newpapers and in store advertising, what we do on social media is also important.
Over last 24 hours I've had conversations with our marketing team at AHDB to relay your points & get their perspective. I will continue those discussions tomorrow & come back on this thread.
Couple of final thoughts to leave you with:
1. Our research shows the public trust farmers, and we need to build on that https://eur02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https://projectblue.blob.core.windows.net/media/Default/Consumer%20and%20Retail%20Insight%20Images/Reports/TrustAndTransparency2994_190911_WEB.pdf&data=04|01|[email protected]|933630fe571f4c8057c308d8bada9028|a12ce54b3d3d434695efff13ca5dd47d|1|0|637464795166235673|Unknown|TWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0=|1000&sdata=+nOGHHAQRl1gb2c/FlaSZr+JO6acJBlyYVnPd+0jN5w=&reserved=0
2. Consumers want to hear farmers tell their own stories on social media & we need to think around how as meat and dairy sectors we can achieve this, while recognising that there are some people out there with alternative views who are pretty vocal.
Paul
So, how many of YOU are complaining to AHDM about their spending of YOUR levy ?
I’m not too worried about the vegans or their comments tbh. My problem is with the people running the campaign & hosting the page, supposedly to promote British meat ?
Yeah, great . . .
could they be anymore incompetent?
enthusiastic amateurs do MUCH better
He will no doubt be in a meeting determining how they can spend our money on vital stuff like leaflets on how to treat foot rot ( which is available for free all over the internet ) and not marketing which is where it should be going.Well, the Go Vegan fb page is still there in all its glory, and Paul hasn't stuck his head in here since Sunday.

I have spoken with the comms department today. Made a complaint and suggested that they shut the fb page down and sack the entire PR team responsible. So, how many of YOU are complaining to AHDB about their spending of YOUR levy ?
