It's strange how all the tyre dealers I've spoken to are saying how good they are,how many they've sold and how they've had no bad reports. One look on here and nobody's going to buy one
Well at the end of the day its your call but i know i wouldnt be wantin them again. If you had to sit in a tractor for humdreds/thousands of hours being bounced about to the point you could hardly stand straight at night youd understand my opinion

we brought 12 of there tyres for silage trailers to replace nokian which did 3 yrs
we started having trouble in first 2 weeks tyre rep came out told me trailers were overloaded
got some weigh bridge tickets to prove they were ok. to then be told are tractors were 50k and thats why tyres
were breaking up. so refitted 12 more nokian no more problems. never got penny from alliance or are tyre company.

Purchased a telehandler with mitre tyres on they were original and got upto 5500hours put a set of alliance on the front, literally the treads ripped/fell off, and they lost their shape in 100-150 hours, ended up putting the old mitre ones back on and now some cheep brand, but they have done 200+ hours no sign of ware really🙄

Same with trelleborgs. Got two tractors coming home soon and asked our fitter what he thought of them after the way some speak on here of them. Premium he called them and said a lots to do with how the tyres are used and pressures etc for the job in hand. Time will tell but current Michelins on one tractor have worn really well but get adjusted regularly and have been swapped side to side whereas the other set are totally uneven but don’t get the same treatment.

Had a set of Alliance put on a tractor last summer and in the new year noticed cracking in the back set. Contacted the guys we bought them off and they came straight out took photos, date stamps serial numbers etc. Late feb Alliance sent a rep to have a look and was fairly open that there was an issue in the manufacturing process and that this would be a straight forward warranty claim, the tyres had done around 700 hours by now.
As time ticked on the cracking/delamintaing got worse so we continued to chase them to the response of “The tyres are structurally sound and will naturally wear out, but not an issue as we have plenty of that size in the country which we can get hold of if they do fail which we will knock 40% off the cost of”!!!!!!
So not a warranty claim then but a discount to another set of tyres which could do the same after a few hundred hours!
Anyway surprise surprise one of the rear tyres collapsed while on the road which was rather exciting, the tyre firm came out and managed to get us sorted with a smaller tyre just to get us back to base, and our rep sent numerous photos of the inside to alliance expressing the urgency of the need to get a pair of rear tyres from the abundant stock in the country which has now transpired does not exist and now they are not answering the reps calls or ours.
The best we have found from another brand will be next month at best, but why are we having to pay out for another set of tyres after 8 months and a few hundred hours.
The pictures below are the inside of the rear, every cleat has ripped away from the inner wall breaking the wire.
Absolutely shocking from alliance IMOView attachment 1027873View attachment 1027875
On another note we put new tyres on our 939 last year , Michelin and the old ones were the same make , new tyres were a few months late to came & one of the rear tyres had to have a good few gators in it to keep it working over 6500 hours on it & michelin said this should not happen & give us extra money off the new tyres because of it , great company to work with

So why exactly are tyre suppliers still pushing them so hard? I'm guessing it's something to do with the profit margin?

Get another set of tyres from whoever supplied them and when the bill arrives, tell them your not paying
I vote for this option.

I've just fitted two 38" Alliance tyres 200 hours ago and they're looking well at this stage, but I guess it's too early to tell

Alliance are doing savage advertising too on YouTube. Tom pemberton has a few pairs and ifarmwefarm raves about them a lot .

Is there a particular model of tyre which is failing prematurely? Being such a large company with such a broad range, the problem is bound to be connected to a series of tyres.

They can't all be bad.

Pity this thread didn’t come up 2 years ago. Time will tell if they last or give bother I’ve a set of 900s on the tanker but it’s early days. Now I’m beginning to see why they have 60psi in them from new 🤣

Ours had 40psi in and sh!t themselves even though that was the pressure recommended by tyre fitter

We have a customer with Alliance 710/85r38, 1 failed the other week and the word from our supplier is there is none in stock and Alliance aren’t making anymore till there is enough orders worldwide to justify starting a run. Unfortunately there are only 2 manufacturers making this size and the other is the expensive french one.

The expensive French one doesn’t half look cheap to me relative to the rubbish you have there.
